MEC Method for providing cloud based autonomous driving service using MEC server and system therefor
The present invention relates to an autonomous driving system comprising: an autonomous vehicle having a wireless communication module; a mobile communication base station device transceiving signals with the wireless communication module; and a mobile edge computing (MEC) server connected to the mobile communication base station and performing object recognition and running determination of the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle provides probe vehicle data (PVD) information and sensor information for the MEC server through the mobile communication base station device, and uses a control signal provided from the MEC server through the mobile communication base station device to perform autonomous driving. The MEC server uses the sensor information and the PVD information to perform the object recognition and running determination of the autonomous vehicle. The control signal includes results of the object recognition and running determination of the autonomous vehicle.
본 발명은 자율 주행 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 무선 통신 모듈을 구비한 자율 주행 차량; 상기 무선 통신 모듈과 신호를 송수신하는 이동 통신 기지국 장치; 상기 이동 통신 기지국과 연결되고 상기 자율 주행 차량의 객체 인지 및 운행 판단을 수행하는 MEC (Mobile Edge Computing) 서버를 포함하고, 상기 자율 주행 차량은 상기 MEC 서버로 상기 이동 통신 기지국 장치를 통하여 센서 정보 및 PVD (Probe Vehicle Data) 정보를 제공하고, 상기 MEC 서버로부터 상기 이동 통신 기지국 장치를 통하여 제공되는 제어 신호를 이용하여 자율 주행을 수행하며, 상기 MEC 서버는 상기 센서 정보 및 상기 PVD 정보를 이용하여, 상기 자율 주행 차량의 객체 인지 및 운행 판단을 수행을 수행하고, 상기 제어 신호는 상기 자율 주행 차량의 객체 인지 및 운행 판단의 결과들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
