However, finding experts in a particular field is not always easy, as researchers organise and exchange information in different scientific and professional networks. In this context, a central goal of the FID move is to improve visibility in the research landscape and to make it a lot more convenient to find interesting people from one's own or other academic or scientific disciplines.
