FID Licenses
The FID move acquires electronic licenses for literature databases that are of supraregional relevance according to the needs from the community. Access is organized together with the competence center for licensing (KfL) and takes place via https://move.fid-lizenzen.de. After one-time registration, a separate registration and activation is required for each license. In addition, it should be noted that the number of license seats may be limited. Who is authorized to access?
For licensing reasons, access to the licenses acquired in the FID move is only granted to scientists who are working at publicly or partially publicly funded universities, research institutions and research-supporting institutions in Germany with a focus on the scientific issues of transport and/or mobility research. The requirements are checked by the FID move before the access authorization is granted. As proof serves e.g. your official email address or, if necessary, inquiries will be made.
How to register for my first license?
Unfortunately, the registration process is currently only available in German. To register for the first time, please open https://move.fid-lizenzen.de/kfllogin and select "Erstregistrierung für Einzelnutzer". Then decide whether you want to use Single Sign-on (SSO), i.e. login via the login data of your home institution (e.g. university):
- With SSO, you must first select your home institution from the list to then log in with the credentials. Then you have to agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy.
- Without SSO you first have to agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy.
Then, in the "Insitutionszugehörigkeit" tab, first select the license you require via Institution and then your status group (e.g. Doktorandin / Doktorand). After entering your (work) address and contact email, you can send your registration request. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please contact kontakt@fid-move.de.
How do I get access to additional licenses?
To get access to additional licenses, please log in to your account first: https://move.fid-lizenzen.de. On the right column you will find the licenses that have been unlocked for you. Under the point "Zugehörigkeit zu einer weiteren Institution" you have to agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy again. On the other hand, you select the additional license under "Institutionszugehörigkeit" and enter your status group. Afterwards you can send your registration request.
