The present invention relates to an automatic parking control apparatus, comprising: a vehicle state determining portion for determining whether a vehicle is in a double-parked state indicating that an engine of the vehicle is off while a gear state of the vehicle is put in neutral (N); a movement detecting portion for detecting movement of the vehicle if the vehicle is determined to be in the double-parked state; a parking space detecting portion for detecting a parking space by monitoring an opposite direction of the detected movement if the vehicle is detected to be moving; and a control portion for controlling the vehicle to be parked along a driving path by calculating the driving path for parking the vehicle into the detected parking space when the parking space is detected.

본 발명은 자차량의 기어상태가 중립(N)이고, 자차량의 시동상태가 오프(OFF)인 이중주차상태인지를 판단하는 차량상태판단부와; 이중주차상태인 것으로 판단되면, 자차량이 이동하는지를 감지하는 이동감지부와; 자차량이 이동하는 것으로 감지되면, 감지된 이동의 반대방향을 감시하여 주차공간을 감지하는 주차공간감지부; 및 주차공간이 감지되면, 감지된 주차공간으로 주차시키기 위한 주행경로를 산출하여 자차량이 주행경로를 따라 주차하도록 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 자동주차제어장치에 관한 것이다.
