To improve conspicuity of a lamp while cost increase being inhibited in a lamp for a saddle-riding type vehicle including a light emitting diode and having a shape elongated in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis of the light emitting diode.SOLUTION: A first translucent part includes a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The first inclined surface is provided on an outer surface of the first translucent part. The first inclined surface inclines relative to an optical axis of a light emitting diode. The second inclined surface is provided on an outer surface of the first translucent part. The second inclined surface inclines relative to the optical axis of the light emitting diode. The first inclined surface guides light from the light emitting diode guided in the first translucent part to the outer side of an outer lens. An inclined angle of the second inclined surface relative to the optical axis is larger than an inclined angle of the first inclined surface relative to the optical axis. The second inclined surface reflects the light from the light emitting diode guided in the first translucent part to a second translucent part and guides the light into the second translucent part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
【課題】本発明の目的は、発光ダイオードを供え、発光ダイオードの光軸に垂直な方向に長い形状を有する鞍乗型車両用の灯火器において、製造コストの増大を抑えながら、灯火器の被視認性を向上させることにある。【解決手段】第１透光部は、第１傾斜面と第２傾斜面とを含む。第１傾斜面は、第１透光部の外面に設けられる。第１傾斜面は、発光ダイオードの光軸に対して傾斜している。第２傾斜面は、第１透光部の外面に設けられる。第２傾斜面は、発光ダイオードの光軸に対して傾斜している。第１傾斜面は、第１透光部内で導光された発光ダイオードからの光を、アウターレンズの外方に向けて案内する。第２傾斜面の光軸に対する傾斜角度は、第１傾斜面の光軸に対する傾斜角度よりも大きい。第２傾斜面は、第１透光部内で導光された発光ダイオードからの光を、第２透光部に向けて反射して、第２透光部内に導光させる。【選択図】図１０
