Overherad presentation. The rising number of CFRP-parts leads to industrial manufacturing. This leads to the use of automatic handling devices.Automatic handling leads to use of robots and automatic end effectors. In this paper, the handling of dry carbon material, carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP)-stringer-preforms from rrepreg and of CFRP-Frame-Preforms is presented. Finally an outlook shows the automatic shimming system for frame integration in CFRP-shells.
