Currently, filter and compensating devices are employed for improving the shape and reducing the phase of the current consumed from the mains via the power transformers of industrial and traction substations. New circuitry solutions for the fast and accurate unloading of a power network to allow, as a consequence, for the improvement of the quality of electric energy and the efficiency of its use are proposed. The application of these circuits is illustrated on an example of devices for traction and industrial substations. The proposed device provides a comprehensive improvement of the power performance indicators of substations, the network, and the load. Additionally, the mechanical and technological parameters of the substation's power transformer are improved, since the transformer does not need dividers of windings and circuit breakers on the high-voltage side.
