The reaction of water vapor with tritium labeled ca h-2 was studied in a flow system over a range of reactor bed temperatures (25-230 degree c) and gas flow rates (5-400 cc/min) using reference water vapor-nitrogen mixtures. These mixtures were prepared and supplied by a generator described in detail, and the limit of concentrations which was reliably delivered by the system was judged as 0.4 ppm. the equations which govern the water detector are presented and discussed.
