This article is part of the research on the transformation of business processes in the aviation sector as a precondition for overcoming the crisis and a method of maintaining the competitive ability of Russian airlines in the global market. The goal of this work is to rationalize the changes in some of the interactions between airport services and airline companies to improve their work and the quality of services provided to passengers. Following the research hypothesis, the transformation of organizational and business interactions between all of the aviation infrastructure components shall create a number of additional advantages that will help the Russian aviation sector achieve economic growth, overcome negative consequences of the crisis caused by the pandemic, and improve their competitive edge against international companies. This research is based on the economic and statistical analysis that helps determine the link between the distribution of the income from business processes generated by business units within the aviation infrastructure and their income on the competitive ability in the sector. This approach can be used by all business entities in the Russian aviation infrastructure when selecting development priorities.
