The commercialization of space technology is bound to significantly contribute to the economy (Toivonen in J Sustain Tour 30:2223–2239, 2022). A white book, “2021 China’s Aerospace,” has claimed to establish a new development stage based on a blueprint with new concepts by high-quality products to promote space science and technology, as well as space applications. The goal is to catch up with the booming space tourism industry in Western countries, which can also help promote an innovative space industry and increase the overall economic output in China.
