With the rapid development of modern civil aviation market, aero-engine emission is an important index for airworthiness. Whether in the engine design stage or in the airline practical application, how to accurately predict the engine emission is an important task. In this paper, the typical and widely used engine emission calculation methods and their limitations are analyzed, focusing on three calculation methods, including T3-P3 calculation method, fuel flow calculation method, and multi reactor model calculation method. Based on the above analysis, suggestions for improving the accuracy of engine emission calculation methods have been put forward.
