According to statistical data for IWT on the Danube (Sect. 1.1.3) follows that around 80% of goods are transported by pushed convoys and 20% by selfpropelled cargo vessels. Concerning the fleet structure, 75% are vessels for dry cargo, 6% tankers and 19% are pushboats and tugs.
