A waterborne refuse collection ship comprises a ship body, a refuse collection device, a refuse transport device and a power and direction control system, wherein the refuse collection device is in movable connection with the ship body through a slider-crank mechanism; the collection part of the refuse collection device is a belt wheel with a baffle; the flare angle of the belt wheel arm can be manually adjusted through the slider-crank mechanism, so that solid floating refuse in different water areas can be collected; the refuse transport device comprises a frame body and a flat belt driving mechanism with a reticular baffle; and the power and direction control system is fixedly arranged on the ship body and comprises a motor, a steering wheel, a universal joint, an electronic controller, a direction raft component, a power transmission component and a propeller propulsion device. The waterborne refuse collection ship can be used for collecting solid floating refuse in different water areas and has the characteristics of being simple in structure, convenient to mount and dismount, easy to process and manufacture, long in service life, good in applicability, high in collection efficiency and the like.
