An investigation was made into the changes of pilot performance at a complex reaction time task during low-level helicopter flight. The two-choice task required responses to a continuous and a similar tone pulse 6 Hz pitch repetition frequency. The mean reaction times for eight pilots are tabulated and commented upon. An extensive bibliography is appended. (Author)
