During the past several years the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey has received many requests to determine accurate air-line distances between various cities in the United States. This information has been used by persons interested in problems relating to geography, radio, aviation, other branches of engineering, as well as for general purposes. With the rapid development of the transportation of cargo by air there has been an increased demand for accurate air-line distances. This publication has been prepared to meet this demand.
