Survival ability in the operational environment is becoming more and more important with UAV’s growing application. While the main survivability analysis of the aircrafts is concentrated on the man-aircraft and the large UAVs at present, the combat survivability of single pawn small scouting UAVs is studied in this paper. Based on exposed area, height, speed and other factors, as well as actual combat factors such as UAVs maneuver, a corresponding analysis model is established through the analysis of operational tasks, environmental threats and threat characteristics of ground light weapons. The damage probability of UAVs is analyzed, and the methods of improving survivability from two aspects: design and application, are given through sensitivity analysis.
