A mathematical model is introduced for the IEEE 802.15.4 with unslotted CSMA/CA for mobile vehicle. We use the M/G/l queuing theory to model the mechnism. Our analysis results show the influence of the vehicle speed and the optimum application scope of IEEE 802.15.4 in ITS.
