Aiming at the reentry trajectory optimization characters of the Hypersonic Gliding Vehicle, the three degree-of-freedom kinetic model and aerodynamic model are built. The fundamental process of solving multi-objective optimization with physical programming is introduced, and the aim of advanced ameliorative measure is the operation characters of pseudospectral method. Considering multi-constraints of normal load, dynamic pressure, head point heat etc., hp adaptive pseudospectral method is used to solve the optimization problem of glide reentry trajectory, in which four objectives are taken into consideration: minimum time, maximum crossrange, minimum aerodynamic heating and minimum peak value of heating rate. The physical programming framework and preference structure are determined by analyzing the results of single objective optimization. Multi-objective optimization of trajectory which represented the preference of deviser is simulated by applying hp adaptive pseudospectral method in the physical programming frame. Comparison and analysis between the results are made to provide reference for reentry trajectory design for gliding vehicles.
