The paper deals with a method for trajectory supervision of a vehicle equiped with an on-board single black and white camera. The system is designed to warn the driver if a dangerous trajectory is followed. It is based on the anticipation of the situations where the vehicle is about to cross a roadside if the driver has no reaction within a fixed time delay. It makes use of an original road side image detector including a 3D road profile reconstruction process. Some typical experimental results are given.
