A vehicle interior component and a vehicle comprising the vehicle interior component. The vehicle interior component comprises a base (100), a cover plate and a base plate (430), the base (100) providing a compartment. The cover plate is arranged to move between a closed position for covering the compartment and an open position for exposing the compartment. The base plate (430) is arranged inside of the compartment and is capable of moving between a raised position and a lowered position. The cover plate moves from the closed position to the open position in response to the base plate (430) moving from the lowered position to the raised position.

L'invention concerne un composant intérieur de véhicule et un véhicule comprenant le composant intérieur de véhicule. Le composant intérieur de véhicule comprend une base (100), une plaque de couverture et une plaque de base (430), la base (100) constituant un compartiment. La plaque de couverture est disposée de façon à se déplacer d'une position fermée afin de recouvrir le compartiment à une position ouverte afin d'exposer le compartiment. La plaque de base (430) est disposée à l'intérieur du compartiment et peut se mouvoir d'une position élevée à une position abaissée. La plaque de couverture se déplace de la position fermée à la position ouverte en réponse au déplacement de la plaque de base (430) de la position abaissée à la position élevée.
