Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verwirbelungselement zur Verwirbelung einer Fluidstromung für ein rotierendes aerodynamisches Profil oder eine Turbine, mit: einem Befestigungsabschnitt, der zur Befestigung an einer Profiloberfläche ausgebildet ist; und einem mit dem Befestigungsabschnitt verbundenen strömungsaktiven Abschnitt, welcher ein Leitblech aufweist, das zumindest abschnittsweise mit seinem gesamten Querschnitt um eine gemeinsame Achse verdreht ausgebildet ist. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ferner ein aerodynamisches Profil mit einem derartigen Verwirbelungselement sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines derartigen Verwirbelungselements.
