A single input engine controller and system are provided for translating a single input indicative of the amount of fuel to be supplied to an engine from a fuel control interface into separate signals for controlling the amount of fuel supplied to the engine and the RPM of a propeller powered by that engine. The single input controller translating the single input into the separate signal for the RPM of the propeller according to a fuel efficiency relationship between the fuel amount and the propeller RPM.
La présente invention porte sur un dispositif de commande de moteur à entrée unique et sur un système permettant de traduire une entrée unique indiquant la quantité de carburant qui doit être fournie à un moteur à partir d'une interface de commande de carburant en signaux distincts pour réguler la quantité de carburant fournie au moteur et le nombre de tours par minute (RPM pour Revolutions Per Minute) d'une hélice alimentée par ce moteur. Le dispositif de commande d'entrée unique traduit l'entrée unique en un signal distinct pour le nombre de tours par minute de l'hélice en fonction d'une relation d'efficacité du carburant entre la quantité de carburant et le nombre de tours par minute de l'hélice.
