The present invention relates to a yacht. The yacht comprises a hull and a superstructure, with the hull defining a stern and a bow, where the bow is recessed in side view. Additionally the hull of the yacht has a stepped shoulder defining an elongate overhang of a higher portion of the hull relative to a lower portion of the hull. The shoulder may extend from the bow, essentially in the direction of the stern of the hull. The stepped shoulder may extend from a most recessed part of the bow in the direction of the stern to best reduce spray and waves onto the deck of the yacht.
La présente invention concerne un yacht. Le yacht comprend une coque et une superstructure, la coque définissant une poupe et une proue, la proue étant renfoncée en vue latérale. De plus, la coque du yacht présente un épaulement étagé définissant un surplomb allongé d'une partie supérieure de la coque par rapport à une partie inférieure de celle-ci. L'épaulement peut s'étendre depuis la proue, essentiellement dans la direction de la poupe de la coque. L'épaulement étagé peut s'étendre depuis la partie la plus renfoncée de la proue dans la direction de la poupe pour mieux réduire les embruns et les vagues sur le pont du yacht.
