[Solution] This air bag device 100 restrains a passenger 132 of a vehicle. The air bag device 100 is characterized by being provided with: a main bag 112 which expands and deploys at the front of a passenger seat 104 of the vehicle; a centre bag 114 which expands and deploys at the inner side of the main bag 112 in the width direction of the vehicle; and a supporting expansion part 150 which is further provided to the inner side of the centre bag 114 in the width direction of the vehicle, and which expands and deploys so as to fill a space S1 between the centre bag 114 and an instrument panel 102 of the vehicle.
