According to one aspect of the present invention, a container ship includes: a hull (10) loading a plurality of containers; a residence (20) positioned on a bow (11) of the hull (10); a heavy oil tank (30) positioned on the bow (11) of the hull (10) and positioned below the residence (20); an engine casing (33) positioned on a transom of a stern (12) of the hull (10); an engine room (70) positioned on the stern side (12) between the engine casing (33) and the residence (20); a binary fuel engine (71) positioned on the engine room (70) and using both heavy oil and liquefied natural gas; and a liquefied natural gas tank (90) positioned in front of the engine room (70).
본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 컨테이너 선박은 복수개의 컨테이너를 선적하는 선체(10), 상기 선체(10)의 선수(11)에 위치하는 거주구(20), 상기 선체(10)의 선수(11)에 위치하며 상기 거주구(20)의 아래에 위치하는 중유 탱크(30), 상기 선체(10)의 선미(12) 트랜섬에 위치하는 엔진 케이싱(33), 상기 엔진 케이싱(33)과 상기 거주구(20) 사이에서 상기 선미(12)측에 위치하는 엔진 룸(70), 상기 엔진 룸(70)에 위치하며 중유와 액화 천연 가스를 모두 사용하는 이원 연료 엔진(71), 그리고 상기 엔진 룸(70)의 전방에 위치하는 액화 천연 가스 탱크(90)를 포함할 수 있다.
