The present invention relates to a ship ballast water sterilizing apparatus, which provides a space capable of effective mixing during sterilization and neutralization of seawater, thereby improving sterilizing performance of the seawater and reducing manufacture costs, and a sterilizing method using the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the ship ballast water sterilizing apparatus includes: a storage part formed such that a sterilizing solution and a neutralizing solution are individually stored; and a mixing part having first and second mixers connected to each other, wherein the seawater is sterilized and mixed through the first mixer after being mixed with the sterilizing solution. The neutralizing solution is injected into the second mixer after being mixed with the sterilized seawater between the first and second mixers.
본 명세서에 개시된 내용은 해수의 살균 및 중화 과정에서 효과적인 혼합이 가능한 공간을 제공하여 해수의 살균력이 개선되고 제작비용이 절감된 선박평형수 살균장치 및 이를 이용한 살균방법의 제공에 관한 것이다. 본 명세서에 개시된 내용의 일 실시예에 따르면, 선박평형수 살균 장치는 살균용액 및 중화용액이 각각 저장되도록 형성되는 저장부 및 서로 연결되는 제1 및 제2 믹서들을 포함하는 믹싱부를 포함하고, 해수는 상기 살균용액과 혼합된 후 상기 제1 믹서를 통과하며 살균 및 혼합되고, 상기 중화용액은 상기 제1 및 제2 믹서들 사이에서 상기 살균된 해수와 혼합된 후 상기 제2 믹서로 주입된다.
