The present invention relates to an electric vehicle charging device for emergency charging and a method thereof. The electric vehicle charging device for emergency charging comprises: an inlet for receiving power supplied from a portable power source; an emergency charging mode switch for selecting an emergency charging mode from a user; and a control unit charging a battery of an electric vehicle by controlling a voltage drop of current of the power supplied from the portable power source not to be generated, in accordance with input of the emergency charging mode switch.

    본 발명은 비상 충전을 위한 전기차 충전 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 휴대형 전원 소오스로부터 공급되는 전원을 입력받기 위한 인렛; 사용자로부터 비상 충전 모드를 선택받기 위한 비상 충전 모드 스위치; 및 상기 비상 충전 모드 스위치의 입력에 따라, 상기 휴대형 전원 소오스로부터 공급되는 전원의 전류를 전압 드롭이 발생하지 않도록 조절하여 전기자동차의 배터리를 충전하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
