The present invention relates to a traffic coordinator apparatus for smooth vehicle traffic at an intersection. According to the present invention, the traffic coordinator apparatus comprises: an intersection driving situation determination unit receiving driving environment information of an intersection and information on a target vehicle passing through an intersection to determine an intersection driving situation; and a traffic rule generation unit generating a traffic rule in accordance with the determination result of the intersection driving situation, controlling a traffic light in accordance with the traffic rule, and transmitting a message to the target vehicle.
본 발명은 교차로에서 차량 통행을 원활하게 하기 위한 트래픽 코디네이터 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 트래픽 코디네이터 장치는 교차로의 주행 환경 정보와 교차로를 통행하는 대상 차량의 정보를 수신하여 교차로 주행상황을 판단하는 교차로 주행상황 판단부 및 교차로 주행상황의 판단 결과에 따라 통행 규칙을 생성하고, 통행규칙에 따라 신호등을 제어하고 대상 차량으로 메시지를 송신하는 통행규칙 생성부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
