The present invention relates to an undercover for an automobile with excellent sound absorption and rigidity and a method for manufacturing the same and, more specifically, to an undercover for an automobile with excellent mechanical properties capable of effectively absorbing sound since air permeability of a laminated structure is ensured. According to the present invention, the undercover for an automobile can ensure air permeability of a laminated structure so that the undercover can effectively absorb engine and exhaust noise and effectively prevent moisture permeation to a substrate since the device has a smaller pore size than an ordinary perforated air permeable film and has a low water absorption rate. In addition, compared to the perforated air-permeable film, the processing cost is reduced and the price is low. Air permeability and mechanical properties are secured at the same time, thereby improving the durability of parts.
본 발명은 흡음성과 강성이 우수한 자동차 언더커버, 및 상기 언더커버를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것으로 보다 상세하게는 적층 구조의 통기성이 확보되어 소음을 효과적으로 흡수할 수 있고, 기계적 물성이 우수한 흡음성과 강성이 우수한 자동차 언더커버에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 자동차 언더커버는, 적층 구조의 통기성이 확보되어 엔진 및 배기계 소음을 효과적으로 흡수할 수 있고, 일반적인 천공 형태의 통기성 필름 대비 기공 사이즈가 작아 수분 흡수율이 낮기 때문에 기재로의 수분 침투를 효과적으로 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 천공 형태의 통기성 필름과 대비해서 가공비가 축소되어 가격이 저렴하다는 장점이 있고, 통기성과 함께 기계적 물성을 동시에 확보하여 부품의 내구성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
