Embodiments of the present invention relate to an adaptive road detection system and to an adaptive road detection method. More specifically, the system includes: an overspeed warning device for expressing the vehicle speed by detecting the vehicle speed in a vehicle speed detection area set to correspond to one or more lanes among n number (n is a natural number of 2 or more) lanes included in the road; and a traffic information obtaining device obtaining traffic information at one or more traffic information obtaining points corresponding to one or more lanes among n number of lanes and set independently of the vehicle speed detection area. Accordingly, each of the speed warning function and the traffic information obtaining function can be independently provided at the required location.
본 발명의 실시예들은 적응적인 도로 감지 시스템 및 적응적인 도로 감지 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는, 도로에 포함된 n(n은 2 이상의 자연수) 차로 중 하나 이상의 차로와 대응되어 설정된 차량속도 감지영역에서의 차량속도를 감지하여, 차량속도를 표출하는 과속 경보 장치와, n개의 차로 중 하나 이상의 차로와 대응되며 차량속도 감지영역과 독립적으로 설정된 하나 이상의 교통정보 획득지점에서의 교통정보를 획득하는 교통정보 획득장치를 포함함으로써, 과속 경보 기능과 교통정보 획득 기능 각각을 필요한 위치에서 독립적으로 제공할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
