The present invention relates to an auto-convertible wheelset with independent or non-independent rotating wheels, and more specifically, to an auto-convertible wheelset with independent or non-independent rotating wheels wherein leading wheels according to the rotating direction of the wheels along the traveling direction of a train are converted as non-independent rotating wheels and following wheels are converted as independent rotating wheels, thereby improving linear driving safety and curved followability and reducing the vibration of vehicles and abrasion to the rotating wheels. In the auto-convertible wheelset with independent or non-independent rotating wheels, the present invention comprises a conversion means installed between an axle and the wheels to selectively convert whether a torque between the axle and the wheels is transmitted so that the leading wheels can be the non-independent wheels and the following wheels can be the independent wheels.
본 발명은 독립형 또는 일체형 차륜 자동 변환 윤축에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 열차의 주행 방향에 따른 차륜의 회전 방향에 따라 선두차륜은 일체형 차륜으로, 후미차륜은 독립형 차륜으로 변환되도록 함으로써 직선 주행 안전성과 곡선 추종성을 향상할 수 있도록 하고, 차량 진동 및 차륜의 마모를 저감할 수 있는 독립형 또는 일체형 차륜 자동 변환 윤축에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 독립형 또는 일체형 차륜 자동 변환 윤축에 있어서, 차축과 차륜 사이에 설치되어 차축과 차륜 사이의 토크 전달 여부를 선택적으로 변환되도록 함으로써 선두차륜은 일체형 차륜이 되도록 하고, 후미차륜은 독립형 차륜이 되도록 하는 변환수단이 구비되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
