PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inertial system capable of controlling a posture of a moving body properly even when the moving body has a pitch angle θ in a range of ±90°.SOLUTION: An inertial sensor 10 detects a yaw angle ψ, a pitch angle θ and a roll angle φ of the moving body. The yaw angle ψ, the pitch angle θ and the roll angle φ detected by the inertial sensor 10 are inputted to a quaternion calculation part 11. The quaternion calculation part 11 calculates quaternion Q(qx, qy, qz, qw) from output of the inertial sensor 10 and then outputs the calculated quaternion Q.
