To obtain a reduction gear which has an extremely-large reduction ratio, and is high in a setting freedom of the reduction ratio.SOLUTION: A reduction gear G comprises: an input shaft 1 arranged at a housing 3, and having a first sun gear gs1 and a second sun gear gs2; and a ring member R having a second planetary gear gp2 having a plurality of stages of tooth parts, and screwed with the second sun gear gs2, a first planetary gear gp1 having one stage of the tooth parts, and screwed with the first sun gear gs1, a second ring gear gr2 screwed with the second planetary gear gp2, and a first ring gear gr1 screwed with the first planetary gear gp1. Either of a second carrier C2 for supporting the second planetary gear gp2, and a first carrier C1 for supporting the first planetary gear gp1 is fixed to the housing 3, and the other is made to serve as an output shaft 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
