To provide an automobile with an aerial mode for certainly detecting a family member and an acquaintance under walking and allowing predetermined processing for landing and inviting the detected family member and acquaintance to boarding, etc. when they are caused to get on the automobile.SOLUTION: An automobile comprises: one or more cameras which photograph an obliquely downward direction outside an own vehicle; a storage unit which stores gait information for detecting an object person to be an object of gait recognition; gait recognition discrimination means for recognizing gaits of persons existing in the obliquely downward direction outside the own vehicle from image information photographed by the cameras and discriminating whether or not a person with a gait coincident with the gait of the object person stored in the storage unit is detected among the persons whose gaits are recognized in an aerial mode; and processing means for performing predetermined processing when it is determined that the person with the gait coincident with the gait of the object person is detected by the gait recognition discrimination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15

    【課題】歩行中の家族や知人などを確実に検知して、その検知した家族や知人を乗車させる際に、着陸して乗車を勧誘する等の所定の処理を可能にする空中を移動する空中モードを備える自動車を提供する。【解決手段】自車の外部の斜め下方を撮影する1又は複数のカメラと、歩容認識の対象とする対象人物を検出するための歩容情報を記憶する記憶部と、空中モードにおいて、カメラで撮影された画像情報から自車の外部の斜め下方に存在する人物の歩容を認識すると共に、歩容を認識した人物の中に、記憶部に記憶されている対象人物の歩容と合致する歩容の人物を検出したか否かを判別する歩容認識判別手段と、歩容認識判別手段で、対象人物の歩容と合致する歩容の人物を検出したと判別した場合に、所定の処理を行う処理手段と、を備える。【選択図】図15
