To support a tilting vehicle to be self-sustaining when stopping and facilitate starting and stalking of the tilting vehicle.SOLUTION: A tilting control device 17 can execute at least gravity compensation control C1 and self-sustaining assist control C2. The tilting control device 17 controls an actuator 16 to switch between the gravity compensation control C1 and the self-sustaining assist control C2 when a switching condition is satisfied. At least when a tilting vehicle 1 is stopped, torque output when the gravity compensation control C1 is executed is greater than zero and smaller than a tilting moment. At least when the tilting vehicle 1 is stopped and a tilt angle of a vehicle body 11 is within a self-sustaining approximate range, torque output when the self-sustaining assist control C2 is executed is greater than the tilting moment. 【課題】停車時において傾斜車両の自立を支援しつつ、傾斜車両の発進及び押し歩きを容易にする。【解決手段】傾斜制御装置１７は、少なくとも重力補償制御Ｃ１と自立アシスト制御Ｃ２とを実行可能である。傾斜制御装置１７は、切替条件の成立時に、重力補償制御Ｃ１と自立アシスト制御Ｃ２とを切り替えるようにアクチュエータ１６を制御する。少なくとも傾斜車両１の停車時において、重力補償制御Ｃ１を実行しているときに出力するトルクは、ゼロよりも大きくかつ傾斜モーメントよりも小さい。少なくとも傾斜車両１の停車時かつ車体１１の傾斜角が自立近傍範囲内である場合において、自立アシスト制御Ｃ２を実行しているときに出力するトルクは、傾斜モーメントよりも大きい。傾斜モーメントは、車体１１が傾斜したときに重力によって車体１１に作用するモーメントである。【選択図】図１
