【課題】先行車両が表示領域内にいるか否かに拘らず、表示制御が簡便で運転席の乗員に先行車両に関する情報であることを直感的に確認しやすい画像を表示領域内に表示する車両用表示制御装置、車両用表示装置、車両用表示制御方法及び車両用表示制御プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】車両用表示装置（１０）は、ＡＣＣ制御時に先行車両７０を対象とした追従走行制御を車両（１２）が実施している場合には、車両からの前景の一部と重複する第３表示部２６の表示領域２６Ａに車両（１２）側から先行車両７０側に向けて複数の車間物標７４を表示し、複数の車間物標７４を車両（１２）側から先行車両７０側に向けて順次強調表示する。これにより、運転席の乗員は、直感的に追従走行制御していることを認識することができる。【選択図】図５Ｂ
