To easily adjust the emitting direction of a search wave used to detect a vehicle.SOLUTION: A moving object detection sensor emits a search wave toward the upstream side of a setting area, and detects the position and speed of a vehicle located at the upstream side of the setting area. An approach determination unit determines whether or not the detected vehicle approaches the setting area, and an output unit outputs a message that there is the vehicle determined to approach the setting area. 【課題】車両の検出に用いる探査波の照射方向の調整が簡単に行える。【解決手段】移動体検出センサが、設定領域の上流側に向けて探査波を照射し、この設定領域の上流側に位置する車両の位置、および速度を検出する。進入判定部が、検出した車両が設定領域に進入してくるかどうかを判定し、出力部が設定領域に進入してくると判定された車両があればその旨を出力する。表示制御部が、移動体検出センサが照射する探査波の基準照射方向に、光軸が合わせられた画像センサで撮像した撮像画像を表示器に表示させる。【選択図】図３
