To effectively prevent crosstalk from being easily recognized by a viewer (crosstalk becoming conspicuous) as the perceived distance of a content image increases in a parallax 3D head-up display (HUD) device.SOLUTION: A display control device has a control part 701 for controlling the image display, and the control part 701 performs 3D display processing and perceptual distance changing processing for changing the perceptual distance of a content image. 【課題】 視差式３Ｄヘッドアップディスプレイ（ＨＵＤ）装置において、コンテンツ画像の知覚距離の増大に伴って、視認者にクロストークが認識され易くなること（クロストークが目立つようになること）を効果的に防止する。【解決手段】 表示制御装置は、画像表示を制御する制御部７０１を有し、その制御部７０１は、３Ｄ表示処理と、コンテンツ画像の知覚距離を変更する知覚距離変更処理と、を実行し、知覚距離変更処理においては、知覚距離が増大した場合に、コンテンツ画像の視認性を、段階的又は連続的に低下させる視認性低下処理を合わせて実行する。【選択図】 図４
