To perform authentication based on a clear intention of a user and execute a function through a single action of the user.SOLUTION: A control apparatus to be mounted on a moving body includes: a near-field radio communication unit which establishes near-field radio communication with a portable device; and a control unit which authenticates the portable device on the basis of authentication information acquired from the portable device by the near-field radio communication unit using the near-field radio communication, and performs control based on a result of the authentication.
