To provide a head-up display device in which a driver can visually recognize information easily.SOLUTION: A head-up display device provided with a head lamp in a vehicle comprises: a light source which can change the correlation color temperature of the emitted white light; a control unit which adjusts the correlation color temperature of the white emission light of the light source; and a projection unit which forms the white emission light of the light source as video light and projects the video light to a projection object member arranged on the front side of a driver seat to display a virtual image so as to be overlapped on the scenery for a driver. A control device adjusts the correlation color temperature of the white emission light of the light source in accordance with the correlation color temperature of the irradiation light of the head lamp. Concretely, by providing a difference equal to or greater than 1000 K in the correlation color temperature between the irradiation light of the head lamp and the video light by the head-up display device, the difference in the hue between two lights can be made clear, and the driver can visually recognize the information easily even when the light distribution and the video light (virtual image) overlap each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】運転手が情報を視認しやすいヘッドアップディスプレイ装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両にヘッドランプと共に備えられ、出射する白色光の相関色温度を変更可能な光源と、光源の白色出射光の相関色温度を調整する制御部と、光源の白色出射光を映像光として形成して、運転席前方に配置された被投影部材に投射することで運転手に対して風景と重畳させて虚像を表示する投影部とを備え、制御装置は、光源の白色出射光の相関色温度をヘッドランプの照射光の相関色温度に応じて調整するヘッドアップディスプレイ装置を提供する。具体的には、ヘッドランプの照射光と、ヘッドアップディスプレイ装置による映像光の相関色温度に１０００Ｋ以上の差をつけることで、二つの光の色味の違いを明確にでき、配光と映像光（虚像）が重なりあった際でも運転手が情報を視認しやすくなる。【選択図】図１
