To improve reliability of maintenance work of a vehicle such as an automobile.SOLUTION: A maintenance server device comprises: a storage unit which stores maintenance tool authentication information and security access information; an inter-terminal communication unit which communicates with a terminal device; an inter-vehicle communication unit which communicates with a vehicle being a maintenance target; a user authentication unit which performs user authentication through the terminal device; an authentication acquisition unit which acquires authentication of a maintenance tool from the vehicle by using the maintenance tool authentication information; and a maintenance control unit which accesses an on-vehicle device of the vehicle by using the security access information, and makes the on-vehicle device execute maintenance items requested from the terminal device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
