Abstract

To provide a method and apparatus for distributing a plurality of utilities.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a coupling unit that comprises a quick-change device, a plurality of coupling elements, and an alignment system for aligning the change device with a corresponding change device and for aligning the plurality of coupling elements with a plurality of corresponding coupling elements, in which the change device is a male quick-change device. The present invention also provides a method for mating a coupling unit with a corresponding coupling unit, including: a step of driving the corresponding coupling unit toward the coupling unit; a step of autonomously aligning the corresponding coupling unit with the coupling unit; and a step of mating the corresponding coupling unit to the coupling unit to couple a plurality of utilities between the coupling unit and the corresponding coupling unit, in which the step of driving includes a step of driving a mobile system, to which the corresponding coupling unit is connected, toward the coupling unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
