To reduce the sense of pressure caused by the hang-out of a tire house of a front tire of a low-floor bus, and to improve the boarding-on/off performance of a seat located around the tire house.SOLUTION: In a chassis frame of a low-floor bus, an inside wall 16b of each tire house 16 is formed of an erecting wall part integrally erecting from a floor member 7 of a passage which is sandwiched between the left and right tire houses 16 covering front tires, and a fender 16a of each tire house 16 is formed into an arch shape via a mild curved face having no edge, and connected to fore-and-aft cross members 2, 3. A box-shaped cross section beam is formed by joining an angular reinforcing member 17 to a corner part which is formed of an apex of the fender 16a of the tire house 16 and the inside wall 16b so as to be diagonal to the corner part, and a lower face of the box-shaped cross section beam is set as a connection part of a front suspension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】低床バスにおける前タイヤのタイヤハウスの張り出しによる圧迫感を軽減し且つ該タイヤハウス周辺に位置する座席の乗降性についても改善し得るようにする。【解決手段】低床バスのシャシフレームに関し、前タイヤを覆う左右のタイヤハウス16に挟まれた通路の床部材7から一体的に立ち上がる立壁部により前記各タイヤハウス16の内側壁16bを形成し、該各タイヤハウス16のフェンダ16aをエッジの無い緩やかな曲面部を介しアーチ状に形成して前後のクロスメンバ2,3に対し夫々接続し、前記各タイヤハウス16のフェンダ16a頂部と内側壁16bとが成す隅部に該隅部と対角を成すようアングル形の補強部材17を接合して箱形断面梁を形成し、該箱形断面梁の下面をフロントサスペンションの連結部とする。【選択図】図3
