To provide a display device for a vehicle that has good appearance.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle 100 mounted on a vehicle comprises: a light source unit 50 that provides light source light; and a translucent plate 30 that is formed into a translucent plate and introduces the light source light into the plate through an outer edge 32e. The translucent plate 30 includes a reflection display unit 33 that has a plurality of reflection elements each having a shape recessed from a rear plate surface and provided with a reflection surface reflecting the light source light introduced into the plate to a visible side, and displays a pattern 34 formed by arranging the reflection elements as appropriate luminously, and a groove part 40 that is arranged between an outer edge part 32d and the reflection display unit 33 and extends to intersect the direction of travel PD of the light source light in the plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

【課題】見栄えが良好な車両用表示装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両に搭載される車両用表示装置１００は、光源光を提供する光源部５０と、透光性の板状に形成され、外縁辺３２ｅを介して光源光を板内部に導入する透光板３０と、を備える。透光板３０は、裏板面から凹む形状をなし、板内部に導入された光源光を視認側に反射する反射面が設けられた反射素子を複数有し、反射素子を適宜配置することにより形成された図柄３４を光輝させて表示する反射表示部３３と、外縁部３２ｄと反射表示部３３との間に配置され、板内部における光源光の進行方向ＰＤと交差するように延伸する溝部４０と、を有する。【選択図】図１
