PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for easily forming a bend in a composite panel.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a composite panel 300 includes a method for forming a bend in the composite panel 300, and the forming method comprises forming a slot 400 having a curved flange 408 in the composite panel 300 using a cutter having a shape corresponding to a slot width 402, inserting a sheet 602 into the curved flange 408, and bending the composite panel 300 with the slot 400 and the sheet 602 within the curved flange 408 around a longitudinal axis 508 of the slot to form the bend.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
