PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower for a vehicle seat that has no duct interposed between a seat pad and an air blower, and a vehicle seat including the blower.SOLUTION: A blower unit 20 comprises an air blower 21 and a cover plate 41. The air blower 21 comprises an impeller for generating an air current and an air blower port 24 for circulating the air current to a ventilation flue formed in a seat pad. The cover plate 41 comprises a cover ventilation port 43 provided in the air blower port 24 and being an opening capable of circulating the air current, and a protective part 44 for restraining application of load on the air blower port 24. The blower unit 20 is installed in a vehicle seat along the seat pad in a position at which the opening of the ventilation flue faces the cover ventilation port 43 provided on a reverse surface of the seat pad, and circulates the air current generated by the air blower 21 to the ventilation flue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】シートパッドと送風機との間に介在するダクトを廃した乗物用シート送風装置、及び当該送風装置を備える乗物用シートを提供する。【解決手段】送風ユニット２０は、送風機２１とカバープレート４１とを備える。送風機２１は、気流を発生させる羽根車、及び当該気流をシートパッド内に形成された通風路に流通させるための送風機口２４を有する。カバープレート４１は、送風機口２４に設けられ、気流が流通可能な開口であるカバー通風口４３と、送風機口２４への荷重の印加を抑制する保護部４４とを備える。送風ユニット２０は、シートパッドの裏面に設けられた通風路の開口とカバー通風口４３とが向かい合う位置でシートパッドに沿って乗物用シートに装着され、送風機２１により生成された気流を通風路に流通させる。【選択図】図４
