PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve connectivity between a Bowden cable leading to an outside door opening handle and a latch part.SOLUTION: A vehicle door latch device includes: a latch part 10; and a Bowden cable 25 for transmitting a door opening operation of an outside door opening handle 24 to an outer lever 26 of the latch part 10. At a resin latch body 16 of the latch part 10, a cable locking part 62 is integrally formed for holding the Bowden cable 25. The cable locking part 62 has a U-shape opening toward a connection door panel 56 which is in parallel with the vehicle width direction of the vehicle door 51 to which the latch part 10 is fixed, and separation of the Bowden cable 25 can be prevented by being blocked by the connection door panel 56. The Bowden cable 25 has a cable cap 61 engaged with the cable locking part 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

【課題】外側開扉ハンドルに至るボーデンケーブルとラッチ部と連結性を向上させる。【解決手段】車両ドアラッチ装置は、ラッチ部１０と、外側開扉ハンドル２４の開扉操作を前記ラッチ部１０のアウターレバー２６に伝達するボーデンケーブル２５とを備える。前記ラッチ部１０の樹脂製ラッチボディ１６には前記ボーデンケーブル２５を保持するケーブル係止部６２を一体形成する。前記ケーブル係止部６２は、前記ラッチ部１０が固定される前記車両ドア５１の車両幅方向に平行な連結ドアパネル５６に向かって開口するＵ字形状を呈すると共に、連結ドアパネル５６により閉塞されて前記ボーデンケーブル２５の離脱が防止され得る構成とする。ボーデンケーブル２５は、ケーブル係止部６２に係合するケーブルキャップ６１を有する。【選択図】図９
