PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling assistance device with a link chain which is compact, smooth in feeding out, and excellent in operation feeling of assistance.SOLUTION: A cargo handling assistance device comprises: a link chain 8 in which annular vertical links 9 and horizontal links 10 are alternately connected; a bottomed cylindrical load sheave 13 around which the link chain is wound; a motor part 2 for rotating the load sheave 13; a torque detection part 5 for detecting torque applied to the load sheave 13; a rotation angle detection part 4 for detecting at least one rotation angle of the load sheave 13 and the motor part 2; and a control circuit part 17 for performing calculation from the torque and the rotation angle to control assistance of upward and downward movement of a cargo handling object. The load sheave 13 has a plurality of vertical link pockets 11 and horizontal link pockets 12 alternately on an outer peripheral surface thereof. A side wall surface 24 of the horizontal link pocket 12 provided corresponding to a semicircular arc part of the horizontal link 10 is constituted by an inclined surface expanding toward an outer peripheral direction of the load sheave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】コンパクトであって繰り出しも滑らかで助力の操作感に優れた、リンクチェーンによる荷役助力装置を提供する。【解決手段】環状の縦リンク9及び横リンク10が交互に連接されたリンクチェーン8と、これを巻きつける有底筒状のロードシーブ13と、ロードシーブ13を回転させるモータ部2と、ロードシーブ13に加わるトルクを検出するトルク検出部5と、ロードシーブ13及びモータ部2の少なくとも1つの回転角を検出する回転角検出部4と、トルクと回転角から演算して荷役物の上下動の助力を制御する制御回路部17と、を備え、ロードシーブ13は外周面に縦リンクポケット11と横リンクポケット12とを交互に複数有し、横リンク10の半円弧部に対応して設けられる横リンクポケット12の側壁面24がロードシーブの外周方向に向かって広がる傾斜面で構成されている。【選択図】図4
