PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive glass run holding structure exhibiting excellent insertion work productivity, held by a lower channel, and capable of stably holding a door glass.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: In a fitting structure of a glass run 10 fitted to a lower channel 3, the glass run 10 has a generally quadrangle cross-section to be formed from a first sidewall 20, a second sidewall 30, a third sidewall 40, and a fourth sidewall 50, and a part of the sidewalls are formed from a higher rigidity material than the other sidewall portions. The lower channel 3 is formed into a generally quadrangle cross-section to be formed from a lower channel first wall 3a, a lower channel second wall 3b, a lower channel third wall 3c, and a lower channel fourth wall 3d. A glass slider 6 is fitted to a tip end of a door glass 5 below a belt line 4, and a tip end portion of the glass slider 6 continuous with a body part of the glass slider 6 via a glass run opening portion 60 and located within the glass run 10 is held by the glass run 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】挿入作業性生産に優れて、ロアチャンネルに保持されて、ドアガラスを確実に保持することができる自動車用ガラスランの保持構造を提供する。【課題を解決するための手段】ロアチャンネル３に取付けられたガラスラン１０の取付構造において、ガラスラン１０は、第１側壁２０、第２側壁３０、第３側壁４０及び第４側壁５０からなる断面略四角形をなし、側壁の一部は、他の側壁の部分よりも高剛性材料で形成される。ロアチャンネル３は、ロアチャンネル第１壁３ａ、ロアチャンネル第２壁３ｂ、ロアチャンネル第３壁３ｃ及びロアチャンネル第４壁３ｄからなる断面略四角形に形成される。ベルトライン４の下方のドアガラス５の先端にガラススライダ６を取付けて、ガラスラン開口部６０を経由してガラススライダ６の本体部と連続し、ガラスラン１０内に位置するガラススライダ６の先端部がガラスラン１０により保持されている。【選択図】図１
