PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a lead sulfate coat of a lead acid storage battery with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A power supply device is loaded on a vehicle and adjusts a voltage outputted from a lead acid storage battery 11 and supplies the adjusted voltage to a load. The power supply device includes: switching means (semiconductor switch 163) by which the voltage outputted from the lead acid storage battery 11 is switched to be stepped up or down; and control means (control circuit 168) for performing control for removing a lead sulfate coat generated in an electrode of the lead acid storage battery by controlling the switching means to form a pulse waveform and applying it to the lead acid storage battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
